SEC publishes bulk files around 3:00 a.m. US Eastern. Our job is scheduled for 03:30 America/New_York every day. You do not start it by hand. It is a timer, not a button.
The worker streams two bulk zips into write-once bronze and diffs the daily index. It does not fetch missing filing files. People keep the live pack; a new generation is published only after silver/gold exist.
